This weekend marks my SuperBowl...yep, the Oscars. In honor of this most special of events, I give you an Oscar inspired Fun Fact...Four best-picture winners won an Oscar in every category for which they were nominated: 2003’s “The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King,” 1987’s “The Last Emperor,” 1958’s “Gigi” and 1934’s “It Happened One Night.”

I like watching the Oscars too. I bed Jon Stewart will be great at it. I can't remember how it went last time he hosted. David and I were going to go to this Best Picture showcase thing tomorrow where you buy a $30 ticket and see all five best picture nominees in a now. There was only one theater in Seattle doing it and I goofed around and didn't order the tickets and when I went to do it yesterday, they were sold out. So now we are just going to go see Juno tomorrow.

Sadly I have to admit that I didn't even watch the Oscars last night and I still don't even know who the winners are yet. Maybe I need to watch the news tonight and catch up.

No worries Michele about catching up, blogging should be enjoyable, not stressful, so relax.
IMHO the Oscars were a bit kinda disappointing this time, and I hated all the darn speeches, especially Daniel Day Lewis, two earrings and curly hair, is a no no in my opinion.

The Oscars have been my superbowl in the past as well...I just love movies! This year, I was a little behind and only actually saw one of the nominated movies - Juno. I thought it was overrated.
I've moved my love onto Project Runway. I predicted the top 3 about a month ago - and was right! I'm going on the record saying that Christian will win it all.
