Fun Fact Friday #9

In honor of the sad news about the demise of Polaroid Instant film I give you this bizarre fact:

A Polaroid emulsion transfer is an image made by 'cooking' a Polaroid in hot water until the image separates from its paper backing. The emulsion of the image can then be placed on practically any surface.

Guess you won't be able to do that for much longer. And pray tell who figured this out?

Oh and happy leap day! Guess I should have had a fact for that, huh? Well I guess you'll have to wait four years for that! LOL!

Happy leap day to you too! Even though I understand that Polaroids have reached the end of their usefulness, I still think it's kinda sad!
